Let me take a minute to introduce myself.  My name is Bill  Timmermans  , I have been working as a Realtor for 32 years.  After completing my first sale of a dairy I decided to specialize in farms and in particular dairy farms.  I understand the business as previous owner and operator of a dairy . It has been my pleasure to have served many clients throughout these years. I have sold numerous small and large dairies, cattle operations and dairy sites. It is good to be back from Vietnam (12-23-09) Thanks to generous donations we were able to fund a much needed clinic at the TamKy Orphanage. This includes an isolation ward and medical treatment room, completely stocked with medical supplies, medical equipment, furnishings and paid up one year in advance for a full time nurse. This facility is also available to the local village since there is no place for them to receive medical help. This is the first of its kind in that area. This facility was started and completed while I was there, I like to make sure that our money is spent where it is supposed to, the day of completion, a baby from the orphanage was hurt and became the first patient. I was Santa Claus at two orphanages and one homeless shelter that had 200 people from disabled babies to the elderly folks with problems.

I had small packages for all the little orphans plus I brought them fruit every time I went to visit them.

The orphanage is in need of expansion and updates in the sleeping area and much needed bathrooms, this is my next goal to help with that. I will be back in Vietnam again November 23 until December 23, 2010 to do my next project at the baby orphanage in TamKy

The reason that I am focused on this orphanage is that I was in that area during the war and saw all the orphans begging for anything they could get, I would give them food and clothes, shoes etc. There was no Orphanage there at that time.

I also purchased laptops for my two Vietnamese students plus a motor scooter for the one that was walking three miles to school and work every day. The parents home was in very bad need of updating so I took care of that while I was there. They had no running water, storage tank, hot water, toilet, power regulator for electric, only 2 lights worked in the house. 

During my tour of duty in 1968, I  promised myself that if I would ever be in a financial position to go back to Vietnam to make a difference for these children, I will do my best to do so. But I could use some more help with donations, it would be appreciated for this worthwhile cause. All of you, my clients make this possible, thank you very much.
